By accessing or using Karmakidos ("the App", "Service"), you ("User", "Parent", "Subscriber") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any updates thereto.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, parents, children using the platform, and anyone who accesses the Service.

Karmakidos is a family productivity and gamification platform designed to help parents assign tasks to children, track completion, and reward positive behaviour using a virtual token system ("KTC — Karma Token Currency"). KTC tokens have no real-world monetary value unless explicitly converted by the parent within the App.

The Service is intended solely for family management purposes. Any commercial exploitation of KTC tokens or the App's reward system is strictly prohibited.

Parent accounts require the user to be at least 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm you are 18 or older.

Children accounts are created and managed exclusively by a registered parent or guardian. Parents are fully responsible for their children's use of the platform.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, Family Code, and children's PINs. You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Karmakidos may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase.

Free Plan: Limited features as defined on the pricing page.

Premium Plan: Full feature access billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You may not use the App to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm any individual, including minors
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform

All content, branding, code, design, and materials within Karmakidos are the exclusive intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to the platform or other users.

You may cancel your account at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused subscription period.

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data: Email address, full name, account role
• Family data: Children's names, ages, and avatars (no children's email addresses are collected)
• Usage data: Chores, school tasks, activities, rewards, and KTC balances
• Technical data: Device type, browser, IP address, and app usage logs for debugging

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, payment card details (handled by Stripe), or biometric data.

Your data is used solely to:

• Provide and improve the Karmakidos Service
• Send transactional emails (reminders, notifications) you have opted into
• Process subscription payments via our payment provider (Stripe)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

Children's accounts are protected by family-specific PINs and family codes. Parents are responsible for keeping these credentials secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Karmakidos is designed for use by parents on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child profiles are created and managed by verified parent accounts.

If you believe a child has provided personal data without parental consent, contact us immediately at support@karmakidos.app and we will remove it promptly.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
